GK was initially briefed to conceptualise and develop a new brand identity for Abacus Real Estate making a logo which was simple, clean and professional. The logo was to be used on their current website marketing Serviced Offices online.

We are continually developing the website with new ideas to better the page ranking and search engine optimisation techniques. We have developed smaller micro sites and emails to aid with optimising Abacus with major search engines. Working closely with our client, we conceptualised and designed PerfectPlacestoStay, a website to market and host Bed & Breakfasts, Holiday properties and places to let in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. www.perfectplacestostay.com

3D Logo animation

The brief was met with a simple 3D animation of the cube with the letter "a" punched through it. This was to signify unity between two separate elements being held together by Abacus. The Separate elements were 'Serviced Offices' and 'Businesses' requiring space within them.

Website

After the design of the logo we felt the website would need to be consistent with the new logo. We designed a simple user interface then worked together with 'UK Websites' to develop the backend. It was essential that the site was simple and easy to navigate, offering as much online support as possible.

Cartoon character

This led to several illustrations of a small graphic cartoon character called 'Albert', who would offer online support when needed.
